Hultafors Hults Bruk Stålberg Carpenter's Axe

The Hultafors Hults Bruk Stålberg Carpenter's Axe provides the precision any skilled craftsman demands. The finger notch in the axe head allows a grip where your hand is placed, almost straight above the centre of the cutting edge, for increased precision. The handle is made from American hickory, treated with linseed oil for increased durability.

Hand forged from Swedish quality steel, the head is struck 40–60 times to increase density and durability. With a straighter edge, Scandinavian grind. The axe is supplied sharpened, polished and ready to use, in a leather axe sheath.

This axe is named after one of Hults Bruk’s most experienced blacksmiths from the first half of the 20th century, Ernst Stålberg.
