Beeswift Electric Vehicle First Aid Kit

    This BS 8599-2:2014 compliant first aid kit is designed to meet a wide range of injuries that may occur from accidents or fires. The kit includes all products required by the standard, ensuring compliance and readiness in case of emergencies.

    In the event of an electric vehicle fire, dangerous substances may be released, with Hydrogen Fluoride being the most hazardous. When mixed with water or moisture, Hydrogen Fluoride forms Hydrofluoric Acid — a highly corrosive liquid and powerful contact poison. Because it penetrates tissue easily, it can cause severe poisoning through skin, eye contact, inhalation, or ingestion.

    Treatment includes cleansing with water and applying Calcium Gluconate Gel to neutralize the acid. For this reason, the kit also includes additional specialized products to address these risks.
